Donorschoose.org is an online clearing house that matches teachers' requests for needed materials, equipment and supplies that are not covered through their classroom budgets. The schools are all located in "high poverty" areas in Tennessee, where funds from outside sources (PTO, parent booster clubs, etc.) are scarce.
